Comprehensive Autism & ADHD Support in Houston, TX
Autism & ADHD Evaluations
Determining whether you or your child needs an Autism evaluation or ADHD evaluation may be your top priority right now. But a thorough Autism & ADHD assessment goes far beyond a single possibility. I take the time to explore all aspects of development, daily life, challenges, and strengths to understand the full picture—because many children have overlapping needs or more than one condition to consider. My goal is for you and your child to feel truly seen and heard throughout the Autism & ADHD testing process. By the end of the evaluation, you’ll walk away with clarity and a thoughtful, individualized understanding—not only of whether Autism or ADHD may be present, but also of which supports, next steps, or areas of focus can help your child thrive moving forward. RUBI (Research Unit on Behavioral Intervention) Parent Training for Disruptive Behavior is a supportive, parent-centered program designed to help families of children with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This evidence-based program provides parents with practical tools to create a warm, structured, and predictable home environment. The goal is to encourage positive behaviors while reducing challenging ones such as tantrums, aggression, elopement, or property destruction. RUBI empowers parents to improve their child’s independence, emotional regulation, and overall well-being—while also improving family quality of life.
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is a unique, parent-based program designed to help children struggling with anxiety and OCD. Instead of working directly with the child, SPACE supports parents in making meaningful changes in how they respond to their child’s anxiety. Parents learn how to respond with empathy and support while also gradually reducing the accommodations they’ve been making for their child’s anxious behaviors. SPACE can be especially helpful for families of children with Autism who also experience anxiety or OCD.
Project ImPACT is a hands-on program that teaches parents how to support their young child’s development during everyday activities and routines. It focuses on building key skills such as social engagement, communication, imitation, and play. This program is ideal for families of children with Autism, Speech Delay, Global Developmental Delay, or other developmental concerns. Parents leave with practical strategies they can use daily to strengthen their child’s communication as well as the parent-child connection.

Follow-Up Sessions
Parents are actively involved in every session, regardless of which treatment program you choose. Each program has a different level of child involvement:
SPACE: Children do not attend sessions. This program is entirely focused on supporting parents in helping their child manage anxiety or OCD.
RUBI: Children attend some sessions, which will be planned and discussed with you ahead of time.
Project ImPACT: Children are required to attend every session, as the strategies are practiced together in real time.
The total number of sessions varies depending on the program and your family's unique needs. Most families work with me for 8 to 16 sessions, depending on the goals and progress we make together.
My ultimate goal is to work myself out of a job—which means helping your family gain the tools and build the confidence to continue thriving on your own. Treatment ends when your goals are met and you feel empowered using your new skills in everyday life.
Session length: 50-55 minutes (virtual or in-person)

Guidance After Autism & ADHD Diagnosis
Has your child recently been evaluated by your school district or another provider—such as a psychologist, developmental pediatrician, psychiatrist, or neurologist? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information in the report or unsure where to begin?
You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Families often have similar questions after an Autism or ADHD evaluation, including:
What does this diagnosis really mean for my child?
What do we do next?
Will my child improve?
Do we need new services, parenting strategies, or school supports?
How do we talk to family, friends, or teachers about this?
Whether you’re just starting to explore an Autism or ADHD diagnosis or already have reports in hand, I can help you make sense of it all. I’ll begin by reviewing your child’s previous Autism & ADHD evaluations, and then we’ll meet to:
Answer your questions and talk through your concerns
Clarify what the reports mean in everyday, parent-friendly language
Discuss which recommendations are truly most relevant for your child
Prioritize services and supports so you know exactly where to start
Identify providers, therapies, or next steps that feel like the right fit for your family
Together, we’ll create a clear, practical plan that helps you move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
